\"\"On the occasion of the National Day of Children\u2019s and Adolescent Literature in Iran, the book of \u201cStories by MAHAK Children\u201d was unveiled with the presence of children, their families and MAHAK staff on July 10, 2017 at MAHAK.<\/div>\n

During this ceremony, the manager of MAHAK\u2019s support services department said: \u201cthis book includes different stories and imagery written and painted by MAHAK children. \u2018Stories by MAHAK Children\u2019 is the first experience of MAHAK in children\u2019s and adolescent literature and accordingly, a few copies are sent to the professionals in order to benefit from their expertise.\u201d<\/div>\n

She also added: \u201cimproving the quality of cancer-stricken children\u2019s lives, educating and raising awareness of life skills is among the concerns of support services department. In this line we have launched the book trolley for them with cooperation of our volunteers who take the book trolley to the hospital wards containing various books to the children\u2019s rooms in order to help them pass their spare time and inspire them for more reading and learning.\u201d<\/div>\n

Book trolley is not only a project for MAHAK hospital but also all the children with cancer at other hospitals with pediatric hematology oncology wards in Tehran are provided with almost 1200 books monthly.<\/div>\n

The ceremony continued by a visit of the volunteers from all the hospital wards and residential center reading stories for MAHAK children from their favorite books. They talked about writing as a job, famous children\u2019s and adolescent writers and answered the questions in this regard.<\/div>\n
