Board of Directors<\/h2>\n

The Board of Directors<\/strong> is one of MAHAK\u2019s main governing bodies, responsible for guiding the organization with collective wisdom and effective fundraising. The members of this board are dedicated volunteers who lead MAHAK toward achieving its mission and goals.<\/p>\n

According to MAHAK\u2019s Articles of Association, the Board of Directors is authorized and responsible for all executive affairs of the organization, except those reserved exclusively for the Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities of the Board of Directors<\/h3>\n

      Electing the Chair of the Board of Directors from among its members<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Appointing the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) either from within the board or externally and determining the scope of their authority, responsibilities and duties<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Delegating all or part of their responsibilities and authority to the CEO<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      Acting as the legal representatives of the organization before third parties, judicial and administrative authorities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    5. \n

      Recruiting, assigning and dismissing employees<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    6. \n

      Implementing the decisions made by the Board of Trustees in General Assembly meetings<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    7. \n

      Safeguarding the organization\u2019s properties and keeping property records updated<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    8. \n

      Filing civil and criminal lawsuits and responding to legal proceedings when necessary<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    9. \n

      Drafting regulations on the use of revenues and allocation of budgets to set goals and submitting them to the Board of Trustees for approval<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Preparing the annual balance sheet and performance reports to submit to the Board of Trustees for approval<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    11. \n

      Organizing and leading Board of Directors\u2019 meetings (chaired by the Chairman) and, when required, convening the General Assembly<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
