Services include counseling and assistance tailored to each family\u2019s needs. Children under 18 who are diagnosed with cancer at public or university hospitals and have confirmed pathology results are eligible for treatment at MAHAK.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"828\">Each child is assigned a <strong data-start=\"621\" data-end=\"665\">social worker or volunteer social worker<\/strong> who accompanies the patient and helps the family understand and access the available services. Both the child and family receive professional support as needed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"830\" data-end=\"1187\">MAHAK\u2019s social work services extend across the country. Every child with cancer from disadvantaged areas who is accepted for treatment at MAHAK is <strong data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1002\">financially supported<\/strong>.
