World Cancer Day and International Childhood Cancer Day 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

In recent years, MAHAK Charity Institute, as a full member of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), a member of International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP), as well as a regional board member of Childhood Cancer International (CCI), has launched awareness campaigns in February for World Cancer Day (WCD) and International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD).<\/p>\n

These campaigns align with MAHAK vision and mission to raise public awareness upon cancer, challenges faced by cancer patients, caregivers, survivors, health care professionals and researchers worldwide, as well as innovative solutions for these challenges.<\/p>\n

United by Unique<\/strong><\/p>\n

World Cancer Day (WCD) campaign launches by UICC. The next three years (2025-2027<\/strong>) mark the new WCD campaign with the theme \u201cUnited by Unique.\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n

The campaign will explore different dimensions of people-centered cancer care and new ways of making a difference. It will offer a three- year journey from raising awareness to taking action.<\/p>\n

Equal access to care for all children with cancer<\/strong><\/p>\n

International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) campaign launches every February by CCI-SIOP in the form of three-year consecutive campaigns with a specific topic.<\/p>\n

During 2024-2026, <\/strong>this campaign aims to highlight the importance of community participation and support in tackling the challenges related to childhood cancer.<\/p>\n

Together and during February, let us come together and participate in WCD\/ICCD to rewrite the future of cancer care – one where the needs of people and communities come first.<\/p>\n
