February is an important month for raising awareness about cancer, featuring two key observances: World Cancer Day (WCD) on February 4 and International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD) on February 15, respectively.<\/p>\n
World Cancer Day (WCD) campaign launches by UICC. The next three years (2025-2027) mark the new WCD campaign with the theme \u201cUnited by Unique.\u201d The campaign will explore different dimensions of people-centered cancer care and new ways of making a difference. It will offer a three- year journey from raising awareness to taking action.<\/p>\n
During the campaign one of MAHAK initiative involved creating a memoir board that embodies the theme of \u201cUnited by Unique.\u201d The board featured photos of MAHAK children recovered from cancer. Each photo has a name and each name has a unique tale. The campaign’s slogan was also displayed among the faces of the children.<\/p>\n
MAHAK Memoir Board was placed at our Orange Balloon Booth throughout February, allowing everyone to contribute their thoughts and reflections. By the end of the month, we had a beautiful piece of art filled with cherished memories, which will remain a valuable asset for us for years to come.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
