This day aims to advocate for an environment where individuals with autism can thrive alongside their peers, ensuring their equal participation in society.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past 17 years, the global movement surrounding autism has transformed significantly. Initially focused on raising awareness, it has evolved into a broader emphasis on acceptance, appreciation, and inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>The theme for\u00a0WAAD 2025,\u00a0&#8220;<strong>Advancing Neurodiversity and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>,&#8221;\u00a0highlights the critical connection between neurodiversity and global sustainability efforts. This year&#8217;s observance aims to demonstrate how inclusive policies and practices can enhance the lives of autistic individuals while also contributing to the achievement of the SDGs.<\/p>\n<p>This year, WAAD will focus on key topics such as inclusive healthcare, quality education, employment opportunities, and urban development, highlighting how embracing neurodiversity can promote accessibility, equality, and innovation across various sectors. Moreover, the day emphasizes the importance of not only raising awareness but also recognizing and appreciating the contributions of autistic individuals to the society, ultimately contributing to a more diverse and equitable world.<\/p>\n<p>MAHAK Charity Institute has been a member of the Global Compact for the past 9 years, aligning its mission and vision with the Global Compact\u2019s ten principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This commitment highlights MAHAK dedication to the welfare of children and the development of sustainable communities.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past 34 years, MAHAK has provided support to 45 children facing cancer and autism at the same time.
