On the occasion of ‘World No Tobacco Day’ 2014, 31st of May, we would like to express our appreciation to all community and non-governmental organizations which play a vital role in informing the public about the dangers of using tobacco thus protecting present and future generations not only from the devastating health consequences resulting from tobacco use, but also from the social, environmental and economic scourges of tobacco use and exposure to tobacco smoke.
In line with its commitment to provide cancer-stricken children with support and assistance required for a healthy lifestyle, MAHAK has undertaken measures to raise public awareness of the unwanted consequences of active and passive smoking exposures.
Alongside current effective campaigns, we need everyone to make a universal effort to stop smoking and help others to quit.
