It is our pleasure to commemorate the World Health Day on the 7th of April 2014, the anniversary of the founding of World Health Organization in 1948, under the theme of ‘Small Bite, Big Threat’ focusing on vector-borne diseases.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank non-governmental and community-based organizations as well as foundations and individuals that have had such impressive impact on reducing exposure to such diseases globally.

With the beginning of the Persian New Year and in line with its commitment to contribute to the realization of the fourth MDG regarding reducing child mortality, MAHAK commits to improving its effort to further implement innovative and developmental health care strategies, policies and services in order to increase the life quality and expectancy of cancer-stricken children while continuing to reduce mortality rate.

With your support and cooperation, we wish and plan for the day when each and every person receives the required support and assistance for a life of health, dignity and fulfillment.
