On August 12, 2013, we celebrate International Youth Day with our youth, our hopes of the future, proclaiming our commitment to recognizing efforts of the world’s youth in contributing to the development of global society.

On this day we would like to make a special acknowledgement of thousands of young volunteers who work diligently to help MAHAK fulfill its mission as we believe that opportunities like volunteerism should be promoted to engage the youth in becoming more actively involved in making positive contributions to their own communities. As such experience of being involved with a NGO supporting children with cancer produces better human beings with deeper understanding of the plight of those less fortunate than us – an understanding that distinguishes the self-centered from those who leave their mark on essential development by making a positive difference in the life of others.

Because of our volunteers, there are countless opportunities we have been able to provide to our children that otherwise would not have been possible. So in honor of International Youth Day, we extend our warm thanks to all of them and congratulate them for their continued desire to help build a better world for MAHAK children, the youth of the future.
