On the occasion of World Brain Tumor Day June 8th 2013, as a tribute to all brain tumor patients and their families initiated by German Brain Tumor Association (GBTA) in the year 2000 and announced as an international commemoration day, we would like to express our appreciation to all community-based and non-governmental organizations which have adopted proactive and effective measures to assist people with brain tumor receive adequate diagnosis, treatment, and general support for their condition.

In honor of this day, MAHAK would like to play its small part in spreading awareness about this lethal disease around the world and draw as much attention to this issue as possible.  Due to infrequent occurrence of this condition in comparison to other types of cancer, public cognizance of this issue is quite limited.

In line with its commitment to consistently maintain comprehensive services in its hospital, MAHAK, along with spreading the GBTA message to as wide a population base as possible, strives to implement innovative and developmental health care strategies for all children with brain tumor.

With your support and cooperation, we wish and plan for the day when all those with cancer receive the required support and assistance for a life of health, dignity and fulfillment.
