Let’s Think, Eat, Save & Reduce Our Foodprint
It is our pleasure to celebrate the World Environment Day (WED) 2013, on the 5th of June, under the theme of ‘Think. Eat. Save. Reduce Your Foodprint.’ with the aim to become the biggest and most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all non-governmental and community organizations which contribute to encouraging people from all walks of life to become more aware of the environmental impact of the food choices they make while empowering them to make informed decisions.
In line with implementing green economy and operation initiatives, MAHAK has undertaken various projects in its corporate social responsibility (CSR) plan of action to move towards paperless operations, recycling, wastewater treatment and reuse, incorporate energy saving initiatives in its upcoming building now under construction, reducing hospital environment contamination, etc. and assist and encourage citizens to realize not only their responsibility, but also their power to become agents for change in support of sustainable and equitable development.
