Being overweight intensifies non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Obesity can hinder the treatment process of chronic illnesses such as cancer, hepatitis, diabetes, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. NCDs are under specific focus by the World Health Organization (WHO) because they have a hard and long treatment process and millions of people are stricken by them. Cancer, also, is a type of NCD. We hope that more and more people will recover from such diseases by finding and knowing more about them.
On the occasion of the World Obesity Day let's try to be fit by having a healthy diet and doing more exercise.
