Pottery Session for the Father of MAHAK Children

On one day in October 2015, the fathers of MAHAK children, coming from other cities that stay at MAHAK’s residential center, had a special guest. One of MAHAK’s volunteers visited the residential center to teach the fathers pottery making.

The fathers, who always want to create a household full of peace and safety for their families, accepted this opportunity with open arms. They worked with great enthusiasm and attention on pottery making along with their children. Through this, they created a tranquil environment for their families at MAHAK. Children looked at their father’s hands during the pottery session with happiness and tried to learn the most out of it.

In MAHAK’s residential center, we try to provide not only a place  to live for the families during their child’s treatment, but also try to help them through this long way by holding such joyful and exciting events.

MAHAK hopes to develop specialized support services for cancer stricken children and their families with the help of its benevolent supporters and tries to always put a smile on children’s faces through their treatment.
