Hospital
When the Society was first founded, one of MAHAK’s major goals was to establish a Pediatric Cancer Hospital. A piece of land was purchased in1997, the construction began in 1999, and the dream came true with the inauguration of the Hospital in March 2007.
The MAHAK Hospital now covers over 18,000 square meters and includes Emergency, Oncology, Hematology, ICU, Chemotherapy, Radiology, Radiotherapy, Psychology, and Surgery rooms as well as a Genetic Laboratory, Children’s Heart Departments, and a Dentistry Clinic. The Hospital also provides Diagnostic Services such as CT Scanners, PET Scan, MRI, Biochemical Lab, Microbiology Lab, Physiotherapy, and Hydrotherapy Centers. Additional services include welfare departments, recreation facilities, children’s play rooms, a library and an auditorium.
