1st International Congress of Cancer Pain Management at MAHAK

The 1st International Congress of Cancer Pain Management along with the 4th Annual National Conference on Pediatric Pain Medicine and Regional Anesthesia and Interventional Pain Management Workshop is going to be held on February 3 – 5, 2016 at MAHAK Pediatric Cancer Treatment and Research Center (MPCTRC) in Tehran. This congress, which is planned to coincide with World Cancer Day, will be held with the presence of national and international university professors, academic elites and specialists.

The main subject foci of this congress are:

Basic Sciences (Animal & Human): Physiology, Cellular / Molecular Aspects, Genetics, Anatomy, Imaging, etc.

Clinical Sciences: Mechanism & Epidemiology, Assessment, Pharmacology, Pharmacogenetics, Pharmacogenomics, Interventional / Invasive Strategies, Pain Management Techniques, Rehabilitation & Psychological Aspects, Antineoplastic Therapy, Difficult Pain Problems, System of Care, Integrative & Alternative Medicine, Radiology, Radiotherapy, Barriers to Pain Managements, Pain Syndromes, Surgical Treatments, Anesthesiology, Regional Anesthesia, etc.

MAHAK endeavors to take effective steps in treatment and providing full support for children with cancer by holding scientific congress and sharing its gained knowledge and experiences as a referral center in the Middle East for children’s cancer treatment.  Presence of professionals and experts of related medical fields pertinent to pediatric cancer in such forums will most certainly be helpful for achieving the best treatment methods possible.
