Thirty years ago, on a day like today, MAHAK was officially registered as a sanctuary of compassion for children passing their cancer journey throughout the country. With a noble motive and humanitarian concern of a group of volunteers, MAHAK was set up.
Initially, its mission was limited to offering social working services to cancer-stricken children and their families. As time unfurled its tapestry, MAHAK’s journey led it to the establishment of a pediatric cancer hospital. To this day, over 42000 children has received treatment and support services from MAHAK.
This remarkable achievement has been woven together by the threads of generosity and goodwill of the compassionate souls of our nation, who have walked hand in hand with MAHAK through the passage of time.
On March 17, we pay homage to the anniversary of MAHAK’s inception, bowing in reverence to the countless benevolent hearts that have each placed a brick in the foundation of this noble institution, casting a radiant light that illuminates the path to a brighter tomorrow for all who seek solace in its embrace.
