MAHAK’s Presence at the 27th International BFM Study Group Congress

The 27th Annual Meeting of the International BFM Study Group and the 10th Biennial Childhood Leukemia Symposium was held in Athens, Greece on April 23-26, 2016 with participation of MAHAK’s representative, Dr. Azim Mehrvar, a Hematologist and Pediatric Oncology specialist and head of MAHAK’s Pediatric Cancer Treatment and Research Center.The IBFM conference was held as a closed-access meeting covering in depth major aspects on diagnosis, treatment, therapy related toxicities and research of childhood leukemias and lymphomas. Additionally, CLS was an open to oral and poster presentation meeting enriched with outstanding lectures.
Sharing knowledge and specialized experiences and getting familiar with initiative treatment protocols in accordance with the latest global and scientific findings at the national and international levels has always been one of MAHAK’s concerns. We believe that many capacities can be found through synergic cooperation and will help us provide a higher quality of services to children with cancer and their families.
