School Principals Visit MAHAK

 On May 2nd, 2015, a group of schools and Student Organizations’ principals and managers gathered at MAHAK in order to develop the cooperation between MAHAK and schools for distributing donation boxes with the purpose of establishing the culture of altruism among children and teenagers.
At the beginning, Parivash Ladjevardi, member of MAHAK’s board of trustees and directors, while appreciating this effort for promoting helping fellow human beings and philanthropy, mentioned that the participation of students in social activities is an act of sustainability.
Afterward, Arasb Ahmadian, the CEO of MAHAK, congratulated teachers for Teachers’ Day and said, “The cooperation between MAHAK and schools for distributing donation boxes, not only provides an opportunity for students and future developers of our country, to know their social responsibilities, but also has an effective role on introducing MAHAK and its purposes to students and their families. MAHAK is grateful of all the participants and their volunteer cooperation. We believe that we can develop the culture of altruism in the education section. We also have a responsibility to be grateful, clear and responding towards students as our young supporters.”
Ahmadian emphasized that this project can be considered as a successful step in the field of education and training, and said, “We hope this big social movement continues for years to come”.
Dehghani, deputy assistant of the Minister of Education, said: “We’re trying to open the schools to the social spiritual culture. For training students, we should follow love, empathy, politeness and knowledge. We hope this project helps us to reach the spiritual values and helps MAHAK to accomplish its goal of supporting children with cancer.”
Later, the band of MAHAK volunteers performed a few pieces of traditional music, and a letter written by one of the students was read. Followed by, one of MAHAK children reading the reply to this letter on behalf of other children.
Since October 2015, MAHAK has started the project of distributing donation boxes in schools of Tehran and Alborz districts with the partnership of Students Organization to promote community outreach among students and teenagers.
With the help of our supporters, we hope to take an effective step in developing cooperation in supporting children with cancer.
