Exposing to strong winds, Giant trees resist to last bit of their lives however in the moment of their loftiness, they may break. Otherwise, newborn leaves and Young seedlings are flexible enough to bend and strengthen up again.
Speaking of MAHAK as a tree, it has miraculous characteristics. It is in old ages but still helpful like youth; it is deep-rooted but flexible enough.
An old tree full of leaves that can shelter 17000 children and their families under its shade while being so young to resist any kind of gusty wind.
Over the past year, MAHAK’s tree seemed to be standing at a crossroads with an unkind wind blowing from all sides. A few leaves were pulled from this tree, a few branches were broken, nests of some of its little chickens was cracked, but… but this tree survived and will survive because of you who take our hands in yours in all hardships and at the right moments; because of you who still believes that hope is not just a word.
A year was passed; a difficult year for all of us… but as Hafez, the Persian poet said:
“Arrived the glad tidings that grief’s time shall not remain/ Like that joy’s time remained not; like this grief’s time shall not remain”
Although by the ill-speaking of the watcher I am, in the Beloved’s sight, become dusty and despicable / Yet honored like this, the watcher shall not remain.
In gold, on this mansion of chrysotile, they have written /Save the goodness of people of liberality, aught shall not remain…”
So we welcome the New Year with a light of desire in our hands and a torch of love for each other in our hearts.
Happy the Year 1402 to everyone.
