The famous actor and photographer, Majid Bahrami recently held a charity exhibition, called “The Ropes of Hope” at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran.
In addition to the gallery, from which Bahrami donated a picture to MAHAK, the event also raised money by selling erasers that the visitors could use to erase the drawings of crabs, the symbol of cancer, from the walls. The visitors paid as much as they wanted for the erasers and the symbolic gesture was made in the hope that one day, all the patients suffering from cancer will be cured.
Majid Bahrami is a hero in the fight against cancer, not only because of his charitable contributions, but also since he has been fighting cancer himself for several years. Based on his real life experience, the message of the event can be read “Cancer Is Not the End”.
Once again we, at MAHAK would like to express our appreciation to Mr. Bahrami for his invaluable humanitarian effort and hope that one day all cancer patients around the globe celebrate a successful recovery and a life defined by fulfilled dreams.
