Summer Charity Bazaar in MAHAK

MAHAK Summer Charity Bazaar was arranged by MAHAKS’ staff and more than 400 volunteers on August 14-15, 1393.
In addition to thousands of visitors, just like previous bazaars, well-known celebrities also attended this event in order to show their love and support for the children of MAHAK. On the first day, Peyman Ghasem Khani, Mehrab Ghasem Khani, Roozbeh Nematollahi, Zaniar Khosravi, Leila Bolokat in addition to Iranian football legend, Ali Karimi who donated his number 8 jeresy from his days at Bayern Munich to MAHAK. On the second day, celebrities like Hamed Haddadi, Polad Kimiyai, Milad Keymram, Kamand Amirsoleymani, Bahareh Rahnama, Mahnaz Afshar and Sahar Dolatshahi turned up.
During this event, Alireza Haghighi, Iran’s goalkeeper during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil put the shirt he was wearing while playing against Argentina up for auction.
Among other products, paintings and drawings from 11 patients were put on sale at the Bazaar. On the last day, and Roozbeh Nematollahi also performed some songs.
The bazaar ended with a mass balloon release, as a symbolic gesture wishing the children at MAHAK successful recovery and that one day we can bid farewell to cancer.
By the end of the second day, more than 5300 people had visited the bazaar, and as a result, the revenues from the bazaar which as always will be spent on the social support and medicine for treatment of children suffering from cancer, amounted to 6.024.944.980 Rials.
MAHAK fully appreciates all the kindness and support benevolent members and volunteers selflessly provide which, through these types of activities, help children remain children, giving them hope and conviction, preventing them from becoming reclusive, and thus assisting them in maximizing their chances for recovery and returning to normal life afterwards.
