Celebrate Volunteering

On International Volunteer Day (IVD) December 5, 2012, under the theme of “Celebrate Volunteering”, we celebrate our commitment and hope for a better world.

On this day we would like to make a special acknowledgement of thousands of volunteers who work diligently to help MAHAK fulfill its mission.

All across Iran, our volunteers work in tandem with MAHAK’s staff to serve our cancer-stricken children and their families.

Our volunteers consistently demonstrate an amazing enthusiasm for the work they do and incredible willingness to help out wherever their input is requested. They are people of all walks of life – high school and college students, working professionals, retirees, etc. united by an ability and volition to give more than they are asked.

Because of our volunteers, there are countless opportunities we have been able to provide to our children that otherwise would not have been possible. So in honor of International Volunteer Day, we extend a warm thank you to all of you; MAHAK volunteers and others who are making this world a better place through your spirit and hard work. We sincerely congratulate you for your passion for serving others, your dedication to volunteering, and your continued desire to help build a better world. Take it from us, you are indispensable.
