MAHAK ceremony on the anniversary of hospital establishment

To appreciate and acknowledge endeavors and cooperation of thousands of individuals and philanthropists who with their love and generosity helped to establish a center and hospital providing support and assistance for infant and child cancer patients, MAHAK held a ceremony on the anniversary of the establishment of the highly-specialized pediatric cancer hospital in the region on June 14, 2012.
During the introductory remarks, Mrs. Saideh Ghods, MAHAK Founder while thanking philanthropists for their presence shared the experience that led her to this creation with the support of dozens volunteers and philanthropists. She also mentioned the difficulties that MAHAK’s team encountered to submit this charity care organization officially. She finished her speech by pointing out the humanitarian purpose behind the establishment of MAHAK highly specialized pediatric cancer hospital and the determination of Mrs. Afsaneh Dabiri whose compassion led to this remarkable achievement.
The program was followed by the speech of Mr. Nasiri, Managing Director of Tefal company regarding the substantial role of MAHAK highly specialized pediatric cancer hospital in diagnosis, treatment and cancer research. He also regards MAHAK as the chain of hope that plays an important role in providing support and assistance for cancer-stricken children and their families.
A short movie that was provided by International Nimad company displayed in the ceremony to portray the childish world of MAHAK children for audience.
After that, Mr. Arasb Ahmadian, Managing Director, explained MAHAK performance during 2011 and 2012 to participants and informed them about MAHAK’s great accomplishment that is earning the 10th best score in the SGS continuum of 219 audited NGOs worldwide.
Since this annual ceremony aims to raise fund for the treatment expenditure of MAHAK cancer-stricken children, this year also MAHAK managed to raise fund to cover the treatment expenditure of more than 200 children with the support of its pioneer volunteers and supporters.
The ceremony came to an end by dedicating memorandum gifts to appreciate those who support MAHAK through their invaluable endeavors.
