On the occasion of MAHAK’s Cancer-Survivors’ Day we went to SattarKhan residential center of MAHAK with Homeyra and Sa’eed, two cancer-survivors, to celebrate this significant occasion by making sweets. Once more, Iran Food and Beverage Association accompanied us and provided our children with healthy and fresh ingredients to make delicious sweets.
Sattarhan residential center is dedicated to children who have had bone marrow transplantation and need to stay in a suitable environment for their recovery. Sa’eed who has had the experience of bone marrow transplantation helped his friends in making sweets and Homeyra accompanied her younger friends joyfully.
MAHAK mothers who stay with their children in the residential center got thrilled by witnessing all the happiness and laughter of their children and got motivated by seeing the cancer-survivors. The mothers made a wish to celebrate the recovery of their own children in future. We look forward to the day when all our little angels regain their wellbeing and go back home and celebrate their wellbeing as a result of the support of our kind benefactors.
