Research Activities

MAHAK is a highly specialized pediatric hospital that adopts the latest technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of children with cancer. As one of the leading centers in the Middle East, MAHAK continuously strives to improve and expand its capabilities and activities.

Recognizing the vital role of research in advancing medical knowledge, MAHAK places a strong emphasis on research as an integral part of the fight against pediatric cancer.

Some of MAHAK’s current research activities include:

• Joint project with the Gustav Rossi Institute: Studying the long-term effects of pediatric cancer treatment

• Joint project with CAF, Russia: Advancing pediatric cancer treatment methods

• Joint project with the Cancer Institute of Iran: Investigating the geographical distribution of children with cancer

• Joint project with the University of Iran, School of Medicine: Studying the effect of Noscapine-induced apoptosis on lymphoblastic cells from patients with Lymphoblastic Leukemia

• Joint project with the University of Tehran: Developing methods and tools for managing children’s stress and enhancing their comfort during treatment

Through these collaborative research initiatives, MAHAK aims to enhance treatment outcomes, improve the quality of life for children with cancer, and contribute to the global knowledge base in pediatric oncology
