A few days ago a group of German volunteer entertainers under the name of “Clowns Without Borders“ (Clowns Ohne Grenzen) came to MAHAK and by conveying the arts of clownery made a joyful day for the children and provided them with fond memories.
“Clowns Without Borders” are acrobatic performing artists who travel to different parts of the globe providing laughter to relieve people’s suffering.
The idea for this project was born in Spain in 1993 from when clowns have been travelling to all parts of the world in order to help people forget the difficulties that permeate their daily lives for a moment or two. In Germany, “Clowns Ohne Grenzen” was founded on July 1, 2007 as a non-profit organization without any political or religious affiliations. They perform for all people – irrespective of their origin, age, religion, cultural or social background.
We at MAHAK wish them perpetual luck in accomplishing their mission ’making children laugh from the bottom of their heart’, exactly what they did for MAHAK children.
