CPR Congress in MAHAK

A two-day congress on Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) was held on April 24 – 25 in MAHAK hospital with the participation of specialists, doctors, nurses and paramedical teams.
At the beginning of the conference Dr. Mardawig Alebouyeh, a prominent oncologist and member of MAHAK board of trustees, welcomed everyone and delivered a speech on the importance of enhancing the quality of research and educational services in MAHAK Specialized Hospital & Research Center.
Mr. Arasb Ahmadian – managing director of MAHAK, was the next speaker who introduced the role of non-governmental organizations and their constructive impact on various communities in the 3rd Millennium. He completed his speech with providing a short history of MAHAK charity-care organization’s activities.
Following Mr. Ahmadian’s presentation, Dr. Farid Gharehdaghi, MAHAK’s pain treatment specialist, delivered a lecture about latest methods of CPR in adults according to the America Heart Association (AHA) protocol. There was a workshop and a question-and-answer session following his lecture.
The second day of the congress continued with all trainings and workshops with the emphasis on newborns and pregnant women, pointing to the scientific details relating to this issue in line with the most current global standards.
