ENT Inauguration

On May 27, 2014, in accordance with MAHAK’s values and traditions, the Ear, Nose & Throat clinic was formally inaugurated by one of the cured children of MAHAK. This clinic has been equipped with the help of Dr. Massoud Ghassemi Firoozabadi in memory of his late father Dr. Abolghassem Ghassemi Firoozabadi in the service of children with cancer.
The ceremony began with speeches by prominent figures delivered in the following order: Mr. Arasb Ahmadian, Managing Director of MAHAK; Dr. Azim Mehrvar, Head of MAHAK hospital; Dr. Massoud Ghassemi Firoozabadi; Mr. Mohammad Khatami, former Iranian President; Dr. Mohammad Taghi Khorsandi, Head of Iranian Society of Otolaryngology, Head, and Neck Surgery, and Dr. Leyla Koochakzadeh.
The ceremony concluded with one of the children of MAHAK cutting the inauguration ribbon in front of the ENT ward.
We are extremely grateful to all our donors that have shown self-sacrifice and genuine care for fellow human beings by contributing time, money, and kindness to help MAHAK achieve its lofty goal of ‘no cancerous child shall ever go untreated due to financial impediments’ become reality.
