We know that a child’s overall health depends on how secure they feel in the hospital whether it’s like their own home or not. In this vein, MAHAK’s organized an event during which Mothers of MAHAK children prepared an Iftar dinner at MAHAK’s residential center that brought an atmosphere full of peace and love to their children. The event, which was held along with the night of Qadr, was accompanied by prayers hoping for the recovery of all children with cancer.
Ramadan is the month of goodness and every moment of these days are sweet for everyone; but the most pleasant and memorable moment of it is the time of Iftar when the whole family sits at the Iftar table and spends spiritual and comforting times together wishing that these moments would never end.
Since, children with cancer need to be in the hospital at the time of their treatments, one of MAHAK’s main concerns is the well-being of the children and their families during that time, with the help of support services, we try to give comfort and peace to the children’s parents during the treatment so they don’t have to concern about anything else except their children’s recovery. In order to fulfill this objective, MAHAK conducts different events on different occasions of national and religious beliefs such as Iftar times of Ramadan. During this event, a group of MAHAK supporters along with MAHAK children’s mothers prepared different Iftar dishes. Under one roof, everyone present at the ceremony had just one wish and that was the well-being of the children.
By arranging such activities, we hope to create memorable moments for kids to turn their normal gathering into great time with their friends and parents. We thank all those who worked voluntarily to help and prepare such an unforgettable day for the children and their families.
