Happy International Day of Charity

As history proves, charity has a background as long as the whole humanity and over a hundred years have passed since the establishment of the first charity organization in the world. 10 years ago the United Nations declared September 5th as the International Day of Charity. Thousands, hundreds or tens of years; the importance of these numbers lies in one matter: Promoting organized donations through charities instead of traditional individual methods. A charity organization has a comprehensive and holistic approach which transforms the limited resources into required support and services as efficiently as possible and provides the target group with greater social effectiveness.

Designation of this day by the United Nations lays emphasis on promoting organized charity activities while respecting the importance and value of individual charity work.
