He collected his dolls one by one and sit them on his bed like it was a class and he was its teacher. He opened a book and started to teach like he was a real teacher. Perhaps he had seen volunteer teachers who came to MAHAK and teach children in their hospital rooms so that they would not fall behind their classmates. The little hero of our story, who had come to MAHAK to receive treatment, was looking like a teacher with his paper eye-glasses. We look forward to the day when all our children regain their health and become the teachers of their dolls at home.

Happy World Teacher’s Day

P.S. Here, at MAHAK there are volunteer teachers who never leave cancer-stricken children alone during their treatment. Due to their patience and kindness no child with cancer worries being away from school.
