Harmony of Healing

As we think about healing, a magical sound comes to mind that suddenly changes everything; it makes the children feel better, the days more colorful, and the world more beautiful. This year, in honor of MAHAK Childhood Cancer Survivors’ Day, we have added a song, a melody, and a different kind of joy to our hospital. A sound that in its notes can make you feel the miracle of hope for our children battling cancer.

Now, when one of our children at the hospital completes their treatment, they will bring the “Sound of Healing” to life with their little hands; a magical sound that wraps around our ears, the children, their families, the doctors, the nurses, and basically all the members of our hospital, giving them the good news: “Ohhhhhh, everyone at the hospital! Be aware!!!! One of our kids is going home with a healthy body!”. This sound plants hope and love in the hearts of our children, so that the seed of health can grow from their hands and they can become the musicians of their own recovery…
