The first national conference of Health, Insurance and Banks dedicated its Hippocrates Bronze Award to MAHAK Charity-Care Organization.
This conference was held in Tehran University Center for International Conferences on January 26, 2013 with the aim of highlighting social factors in health, society and economic-related fields.
“The assessment of health-based organizations was predicated on their impact within seven spheres of health-related services. In this assessment model, the impact of health-based organizations and institutions was determined through data collection and related evaluation of expert jury as well as simultaneously conducting a survey and soliciting opinions from various members of the health care system”, as stated by Dr. Farkhondeh Kish representing the Jury of the conference.
MAHAK Hospital, as a treatment, research and educational reference base in the region, which has always tried to provide comprehensive specialty care and welfare services to children with cancer, pioneered raising awareness regarding early detection and developing the necessary infrastructure to spread knowledge about the disease in the community. Participating in conferences at the national and international level to improve the quantity and quality of scientific research at the global level is MAHAK’s another achievement as a knowledge-based organization.
Being recognized by such prestigious entity assures MAHAK’s ever-expanding family that the path is correct and the efforts towards reducing the malignancy effects of cancer for children and their families are bearing fruit.
