Rasam, diagnosed with leukemia (A.L.L) in 2007, is a 16-year-old adolescent who overcame cancer in 2011 after four years of arduous treatment.“My heart is full of Rasam’s love helping me overcome all difficulties. He suffered from cancer for 5 years. Even when all physicians were losing hope, I didn’t. I have maintained my resistance spirit, not only in the four years of his treatment, but also during all the 16 years of his life, and I firmly believe that this spirit helped me become strong and robust during these years. More importantly, I never lose hope in God’s support,” Rasam’s mother said.
Rasam, who passionately introduces himself as ‘Dr. Rasam’, is studying in the sixth grade with a hopeful glance to the future.
