International Activities
MAHAK is an organization with a noble motive for helping fellow human beings globally concentrating on children with cancer at national and international level.
International activities of MAHAK are carried out through the International Relations Department and include promoting the organizations’ activities in world bodies such as the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), United Nations Department of Public Relations (DPI), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). Activities for obtaining international donations and grants are also carried out through this department.
A major commitment of MAHAK is to share information, knowledge and expertise with the worldwide medical community.
With a view on the importance of promoting the scientific and research cooperation as well as the exchange of information between MAHAK and other similar NGOs, hospitals and cancer centers worldwide, one of the main tasks of the department is to establish and develop relations with foreign cancer related institutes and organizations.
Call for dedicated group volunteer establishment in abroad has been one of MAHAK’s concerns from the early years of founding the organization and Finally the first group volunteer called as IKKH established in Hamburg, Germany with the considerable attempts of an Iranian group who stay in Germany.
MAHAK representatives with their participation in annual meetings and conferences play a vital role in introducing this philanthropic financially viable charity to the international arena.
