On International Cancer Survivors Day, MAHAK celebrates the courage, resilience, and determination of every child who has faced cancer and continues to thrive. This day is a tribute to their strength—and a reminder of the power of compassion, comprehensive care, and community support in the journey toward healing.
Survivorship is not just about overcoming disease—it’s about embracing life after cancer with renewed hope and purpose. At MAHAK, we are proud to walk alongside our young survivors and their families, providing long-term support that extends beyond treatment, from emotional care to social reintegration.
To honor this meaningful day, MAHAK held a special event and invited volunteers, donors, benefactors, and staff to come together and share their voice and solidarity. As part of this event, attendees were encouraged to donate hematopoietic stem cell samples at MAHAK’s HLA Typing Bank—a vital effort aimed at saving the lives of children in need of stem cell transplantation.
Each person who contributed to this life-saving cause placed their fingerprint on MAHAK’s “Tree of Life” tableau. Their colorful fingerprints added vibrant leaves to the tree—each leaf symbolizing life, hope, and the collective spirit of giving.
Each survivor’s story is a beacon of hope for those still in treatment. By sharing these stories and raising awareness, we strengthen the message that recovery is possible and that every child deserves a future filled with possibility.
Today and every day, MAHAK reaffirms its commitment to helping children with cancer not only survive but thrive—and to building a world where survivorship is a celebration of life, love, and unbreakable spirit.
