The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), its membership and partners are committed to delivering the targets of the World Cancer Declaration. Innovative and strategic partnerships with organizations committed to the fight against cancer are vital for building momentum towards the 2025 targets.
MAHAK as one of the most qualified and specialized pediatric cancer centers in the Middle East and as a full member of UICC has committed itself to this union’s targets and always strives to think, observe, and act according to their programs. you can read the report on World Cancer Day 2017 MAHAK’s Action here.
The World Cancer Declaration calls upon government leaders and health policy-makers to significantly reduce the global cancer burden, promote greater equity, and integrate cancer control into the world health and development agenda.
Building on the Global NCD Action Plan (2013-2020) agreed by Member States at the World Health Assembly in May 2013, the global cancer community has identified a set of immediate actions for all stakeholders, in particular governments, to advance progress towards the 9 World Cancer Declaration targets and the overarching goal.
As the continuous supporters of cancer-stricken children and as an individual or an organization who has the concern of cancer control, sign ‘World Cancer Declaration’ on behalf of MAHAK Charity– the Society to Support Children Suffering from Cancer since “Together, We Are Stronger” on the way of reducing cancer burdens to the day on which all cancer patients especially children celebrate their complete remission.
