Legal Inspector / Auditor

 

According to MAHAK’s Articles of Association, the auditor has the following authorities and responsibilities:

  1. The General Assembly of the Board of Trustees elects both a primary and an alternate auditor at the time of approving the annual balance sheet, for a period of one year. These auditors may be chosen from within the Board of Trustees or from outside of it.

  2. At the end of March, the auditor reviews all financial reports and operations of the organization for the previous 12 months. No later than June 1, the auditor must submit an annual report on these findings to the General Assembly of the Board of Trustees.

  3. The auditor is authorized to review financial books and documents, as well as to request statements from the CEO and the Board of Directors in the process of preparing the report.

  4. In preparing the report, the auditor may engage the services of audit firms, with prior approval from the Board of Trustees.

The current independent auditor of MAHAK is Hoshiyar Behmand Auditing Institute.
