MAHAK Support Services department, which is responsible for the general welfare and improving the quality of life of the children and their families, has arranged regular weekly tennis classes for MAHAK children in cooperation with Tehran Tennis Federation and the coaches they have kindly introduced.
Typically a child diagnosed with cancer goes through different kinds of emotions following the diagnosis of the disease. For example the suffering that ensues from the physical effects of their illness and the tasking treatment they are receiving may result in being cut off from friends and normal activities, thus creating a sense of frustration from not being able “to play games all my friends partake in.”
In MAHAK we understand that care does not end with medical treatment and that every aspect of recovery is important for a successful return to a normal life. Sport activities and exercise in general are among these methods. It is important for cancer-stricken children to be physically active and keep up with friends in order to enhance their sense of well-being and self-confidence.
MAHAK Tennis Program is a fun and exciting activity designed for cancer-stricken children where they can experience joyful and memorable moments with their friends.
By encouraging these types of activities, MAHAK always tries to deliver comprehensive support to all cancer-stricken children, providing them with various pleasurable experiences to assist them in maximizing their chances for recovery and eventual return to normal life.
