A painting of MAHAK children has been selected to be shown at the adolescents painting exhibition on the occasion of World Peace Day 2016, under the title of ‘Peace means…’ alongside Hiroshima Film Festival in Japan.
The selected group painting from MAHAK children under the name of ‘The World without Cancer’ was accepted among more than 200 works. This exhibition was held by World Peace Museum in cooperation with Tehran Peace Museum and Online Gallery in Iran with the aim of raising awareness about inner-peace, eliminating violence and discrimination, and respecting others all around the world. The art works has been shown on the occasion of atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki along with Hiroshima Film Festival.
Another exhibition will be held to display the rest of paintings by adolescents, 14-19 years old; from all over the country on September 21 at the peace museum in Tehran. The selected paintings for Hiroshima exhibition are digitally available on http://festival.onlineartgallery.ir.
We, at MAHAK, strongly believe that ‘Cancer is Not the end’ and nothing can withstand the power of wanting. The picture painted by MAHAK children with colors of hope will eventually become a reality with support and help of all benevolent people in the world and on that day, we are going to celebrate the well-being and health of all children.
