MAHAK Representatives at SIOP/CCI 2016 Congress

Saideh Ghods, the founder of MAHAK and a member of MAHAK’s board of trustees and directors attended the Congress of Childhood Cancer International (CCI) along with Dr. Ali Naderi, a pediatric hematologist/oncologist who represented MAHAK at the 10th SIOP Asia Congress of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP) held on May 25-28, 2016 in Moscow, Russia in different arenas such as physician scientific program, and nurses’ educational program.

Mrs. Ghods, as a member of Asia Regional Committee of CCI, had a video presentation in the Childhood Cancer International (CCI) Conference during the session of “Childhood Cancer Challenges in Asia under the title of “Challenges and Innovative Programs”.

Attending different and high level conferences provide an opportunity to connect with other organizations and individuals in order to share knowledge and experiences. The aim of participating in such fora is to gain new and necessary information for delivering more effective services to children with cancer and their families.
