MAHAK Submits its Two-Year COE

In the 4th year of its membership, MAHAK submitted its second two-year Communication on Engagement report on official website of Global Compact to reaffirm its support to the United Nations Global Compact and its Ten Principles.

The aim of UN Global Compact is to mobilize a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders to create the world they want. Therefore, in order to make this happen, the UN Global Compact supports companies to: do business responsibly by aligning their strategies and operations with Ten Principles on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption; and take strategic actions to advance broader societal goals, such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation.

Non-business organizations like MAHAK must submit a Communication on Engagement (COE) report every two years to demonstrate their continued engagement with the UN Global Compact principles and objectives. The COE discloses to stakeholders’ specific activities that a non-business participant takes in support of the UN Global Compact.
