MAHAK’s Presence at the 8th IEEPO Congress

The 8th annual International Experience Exchange for Patient Organizations was held on 2-3 March 2016, in Copenhagen, Denmark with the theme of “Innovation for Patient Organizations” with the presence of the CEO of MAHAK who has participated at this congress for two consecutive years.

This Conference is held annually by Roche Ltd. in different regions with focus on different aspects of patient organizations to bring together professional patient organizations and conversant lecturers from around the world in order to share experiences and discuss challenges faced.

This year the meeting welcomed participants from approximately 240 patient organizations from various countries such as Iran, Malaysia, Greece, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Belgium, South Africa, etc. Arasb Ahmadian, CEO of MAHAK delivered his speech on “Innovative Approaches to Fundraising” along with two other speakers from Ireland and Germany who represented their speeches in the same Module of Iran’s.

MAHAK believes there is much to be learned through sharing experiences and partnership in professional and scientific venues with other alike organizations at both national and international levels. MAHAK also considers taking part in different qualified conferences and meetings as a main responsibility to increase its capacities by using variety of experiences which will lead to provide children suffering from cancer and their families with the best level of services.
