MAHAK’s Representatives at SIOP/CCI International Congress

MAHAK representatives, Saideh Ghods who is founder and a member of MAHAK’s boards of trustees and directors and member of Asia Regional Committee of CCI, and Dr. Azim Mehrvar, a Hematologist and Pediatric Oncology specialist and head of MAHAK Hospital, attended the Congress of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP) along with Annual Conference of Childhood Cancer International (CCI) held on October 8-11, 2015 in Cape Town, South Africa.

During the congress which was held to improve and optimize cancer treatment and supportive services throughout the world, the scientific program was comprised of plenary sessions, guest lectures, committee/group sessions, meet the expert sessions along with free and proffered paper sessions.

The congress was held with the presence of healthcare professionals involved in work on cancer in children, adolescents and young adults who fruitfully participated to contribute to its high scientific quality.

We at MAHAK, would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in organizing this conference. We have no doubt that networking with our colleagues and alike organizations, on an international scale, will result in a creative exchange of ideas enabling us to move forward in our common mission against childhood cancer.
