MAHAK’s Workshop for Social Workers

In line with the mission of enhancing the quality of the educational services and sharing gained knowledge and experience, MAHAK Specialized Hospital & Research Center held a workshop on December 18th for social workers and volunteers supporting MAHAK’s operations across the country.

This workshop was conducted in two phases. Initially, the director of MAHAK hospital, Dr. Azim Mehrvar,  explained the intricacies of various types of pediatric cancer.  Then, professional social workers shared their hands-on experiences by delivering speeches on the skills and sensitivities of proper communication with the patients and their families in different phases of their relationship with MAHAK.

Such workshops stem from MAHAK‘s commitment to continuously update and improve its service delivery through knowledge exchange and improve the quality of the educational services the institution regularly provides for its staff and volunteers.
