Painting exhibition in favour of MAHAK’s children

helping other fellows is to organize specific programs for the children to encourage them to help their little friends while getting familiar with MAHAK.

In this context, on 28 October , MAHAK was the host for children who had come with their  families to participate in “The  Painting Exhibition in favor of MAHAK cancer-stricken children”.

This is the third year in which the exhibition is bringing together by  the little supports  of MAHAK so they take their color pencils in their hands for supporting their little friends suffering from cancer. Marjan Shooshtarin & Mohammad Reza Ahmadi, the volunteers who were in charge of this exhibition, explained the cause behind it as :” We wanted to let the children of MAHAK know that other children are with them & also let the other children who are participating in the exhibition know that each color they have used in their paintings, has brought happiness to their little friends of MAHAK.

In this exhibition, almost 280 paintings of children under 14 years old had been displayed which were sent to MAHAK earlier.

Large sheets of paper were placed on the floor in the hall of exhibition & with the cheerful childish music in the background, the children while having caps with the arm of exhibition  on their heads were drawing & were playing together cheerfully. Some of them were also painting on the large or on the paper sheets which were stuck to the pillars of the hall.

The enthusiasm & excitement of elders was also not less than the children. A grandfather with his grandchild had bent on the floor & was painting with the help of brush & color.
Masood, a 8 years old, had left the painting paper sheet & was painting on Sara’s dress. Nader, a 3 years old, when was asked where he has come, used to say “My friends’ party & was so happy to accept the suggestion of her mother for coming over here instead of going to the park. Negin, a 9 years old, in a sweet way was telling that she loves MAHAK’s children 100 times. Some children were insisting in not only painting on the floor, wall  but also on the notebook which was placed on the reception desk of MAHAK to record the comments of visitors.
Children of all ages came to MAHAK, did their paintings, enjoyed a forgettable day & the most important was that the children accompanied by their parents practiced  to help other fellows  besides joining the big family of MAHAK supporters since childhood.
There were different booths in the exhibition. The children were selling their hand-made products in the mask & cap workshop booth in favor of  MAHAK’s children ,the donation boxes & greeting cards of MAHAK with the logo of the organization on them were painted & colored by the children in the piggy bank & greeting cards booth. Books & Coffee Shop were other booths of the exhibition.
The exhibition raised 122,000,391 Rials which will be used for medicine & treatment expense of children suffering from cancer.
We’re grateful to  all the volunteers & supporters from little  to elder ones who assisted MAHAK to hold the exhibition. To hope for a day when we celebrate the remission  & full recovery of children suffering from cancer with the whole big family of MAHAK.
