A pantomime show called “with a sound as loud as the height of Damavand”, was held on the Mount Damavand Peak to support children suffering from cancer on Aug 19, 2015.
The idea of performing pantomime show on the Mount Damavand Peak was proposed and performed for the first time by the late Bahram Reyhani, a recognized Iranian pantomime and theater artist who passed away after a year battling cancer.
Once more, Jalal Eyvazi who accompanied the late Reyhani during a performance on the Mount Damavand Peak in 2013, went to the highest stage in the country, in memory of this great and beloved artist and all those who stood strong like a mountain and fought cancer. This show was performed with the presence of various artists and mountain climbers in two pieces: Seeing the world from a new perspective and supporting cancer-stricken children.
MAHAK is grateful towards the love and humanitarian act of this athlete and all those who undertake similar acts thus demonstrating a deep sense of appreciation for humanitarian values and understanding the impact one gesture by one person can have on multiple others.
