On November 11, 2024, the sixth event of Iran Ads, the only independent awards in the Iranian advertising industry, brought together over 600 professionals from private sectors in advertising, branding and marketing communications at MAHAK charity institute.
Iran Ads aims to serve as a hub for educational services, inspiring and empowering professionals in the fields of marketing communications, advertising, and public relations throughout Iran and other Farsi-speaking countries.
This year, MAHAK hosted this significant event with a panel discussion titled “The Role of Corporate Social Responsibility in Enhancing the Efficiency of Advertising, Branding, and Marketing Communications Program.” The panel was moderated by MAHAK Marketing Department and featured representatives from well-known private brands, including Aparat, Irancell, Digikala, and Divar.
Dr. Arasb Ahmadin, MAHAK CEO, delivered a speech during this event, elaborating several important remarks. Firstly, he cited the institute’s achievements in the past three decades; MAHAK has registered over 45,000 children diagnosed with cancer, of whom 18,000 are survivors. MAHAK has succeeded to increase the pediatric cancer survival rate from 20% to 40%, having the consistent support of the community.
Secondly, he indicated that there is a necessity in societies to developing cooperation with varied centers and enterprises in terms of approaching corporate social responsibility (CSR). Dr. Ahmadian highlighted that CSR initiatives should be implemented in a sustainable way towards achieving long lasting impacts at children health and treatment services.
Following this at the discussion panel, it was well conversed that organizations and businesses can significantly strengthen their employer brand image through contributing to sustainable social responsibility (SSR) initiatives. Therefore, it is essential for platforms and firms to prioritize SSR in their major strategies.
At the end of the event, Iran Ads honorary trophy was awarded to MAHAK in Praise of its Resilience and relentless commitment to provide health care and supportive services in pediatric cancer, despite of all challenges and limitations upon this journey.
