The indicators for choosing the award winner which were scrutinized within the two-year period of 2017 to 2019 included institutionalization and capacity building in citizenship rights, promoting the citizenship rights and frequency of the activities undertaken in this field.
The ceremony for the first citizenship award was held in Allameh Tabataba’i University (ATU) with the aim of promoting the discourse for the citizenship rights in April 2019.
Receiving the award, Saideh Ghods, the founder of MAHAK referred to the activities of this organization and added:” MAHAK has been founded by relying on public donations and support and has operated since then as the result of effective teamwork. Realizing the rights of cancer-stricken children and their families and paying attention to their dignity has been a great concern for us and MAHAK has always striven to provide the most suitable situation for them.
The 28-year support toward children with cancer and their families has merely been provided due to the constant care and patronage of the benefactors without which the realization of the commitments of MAHAK in delivering the best treatment and support services would never be possible.
