MAHAK children on January 2015 alongside members from the Support services, Psychology and
Volunteer departments performed a theatrical act at MAHAK.
Art therapy encourages self-expression, self-discovery and emotional growth; for these reasons, MAHAK has used this type of therapy in the treatment of cancer. Art therapy often involves both the creation of art and the discovery of its meaning. Individuals are encouraged to visualize, and then create, the thoughts and emotions that they cannot talk about.
While traditional therapy in general has many benefits, the concept of art therapy has proven to be successful in various ways that differ from traditional therapy practice. MAHAK strives by researching for different methods in therapy and providing MAHAK children with the latest and most effective methods of therapy from around the world.
